Hijab, an Obligation for Muslima

Hijab an obligation for muslima
For some muslima, the hijab is still regarded as a right not an obligation. While actually hijab is an obligation. But some people argued that the hijab is only the Arabic culture and so on, which is actually a misnomer. Hijab is more than just an obligation, but it is actually a perfect Islamic law in the needs of women.

Allah says (interpretation of the meaning):
“O Prophet! Tell your wives and your daughters and the women of the believers to draw their cloaks (veils) all over their bodies (i.e. screen themselves completely except the eyes or one eye to see the way). That will be better, that they should be known (as free respectable women) so as not to be annoyed. And Allaah is Ever Oft‑Forgiving, Most Merciful”
[al-Ahzaab 33:59]

It was narrated from Safiyyah bint Shaybah that ‘Aa’ishah (may Allaah be pleased with her) used to say: When these words were revealed – “and to draw their veils all over Juyoobihinna (i.e. their bodies, faces, necks and bosoms)” – they took their izaars (a kind of garment) and tore them from the edges and covered their faces with them.
Narrated by al-Bukhaari, 4481. The following version was narrated by Abu Dawood (4102):
May Allaah have mercy on the Muhaajir women. When Allaah revealed the words “and to draw their veils all over Juyoobihinna (i.e. their bodies, faces, necks and bosoms)”, they tore the thickest of their aprons (a kind of garment) and covered their faces with them.

The correct way of wearing hijab is a veil that covers a woman's body without revealing her figure. Quite often it is not understood by muslima, so they dressed but naked as ever mentioned in the hadith of the Prophet Muhammad PBU.

Rasul Allah (sal Allahu alaihi wa sallam) mentioned: “There will be women who will be dressed but they will be naked. Their heads will be like the humps of camels. They will not enter Jannah and will not even smell the scent of Jannah while it can be smelt from a far distance.” [Sahih Muslim] Another hadith mentions that one can smell the scent of Jannah from a distance traveled in seventy years.

Wearing the hijab is an easy thing to do, but it will be very heavy when the devil whispers heard. By reason hijab interfere with the activity, old-fashioned and outdated, heat and so on. There is even a whisper of a very smooth from the devil, that wearing a headscarf was not important, the important thing her veil. It scheming how vicious derail man from the right path.

So beware, O Muslima, hold on to the Quran and Sunnah. Because today, hold on them is like to hold an ember, really hot but we have to continue to hold it until death come, if you want Jannah in the hereafter.
